  • Please note R134a is suitable for use in generally older makes & models, not applicable for most cars manufactured since 2016.

  • We are encourage the use of viable and more climate-friendly alternatives, a refrigerant with a global warming potential (GWP) of 150 or lower. However, the cost of the new refrigerant is slightly higher than R134a. Please be aware this gas is highly flammable and is indicated by a symbol on the service connector cap, be rest assured you & your loved ones safety is always our priority.
  • EU F-Gas regulations & directive 2006/40/EC 2011, requires workshops buying R134A, HFO-1234yf or R1234yf to have F-Gas qualified technicians. The EU is working through the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), have placed extra responsibility on the seller to ensure Gas handling qualifications are in place. It’s also mandatory to verify workshops buying R134A have F-Gas qualified technicians.
